Emerald Heights is home to more
than 400 adults—age 62 and over—who
are enjoying active lives and each other. They come from
many areas of the country,
and from diverse professional, religious and ethnic backgrounds.
Together, they make Emerald Heights a thriving community,
with a unique energy.
Many residents are actively involved in
the community, donating time, money and goods to a variety
of causes—most notably,
nearby transitional housing. They also support the local food
bank; host community blood drives; collect clothing for the
YWCA Family Village; and volunteer in local schools. This
is just a sampling of their many service projects.
At Emerald
Heights, residents share their energy, ideas and creativity
and make this community their home.
