A Visual Display Of Gratitude
March 16, 2021At the heart of the Emerald Heights community are its residents and staff. Together they navigated through a challenging 2020 with a spirit of compassion, patience and gratitude for each other. The Emerald Heights Marketing team was moved by all of the amazing acts of kindness they witnessed during the past year, inspiring them with the idea of designing a visual display of gratitude for residents and staff to share what mattered most to them during these challenging times.
Together, Emerald Heights’ residents and staff created a visual display called the “Gratitude Wall,” which allowed them to share their grateful thoughts. The more than 200 handwritten hearts were displayed for a month to showcase their sincere appreciation for things such as good health, great staff, gratitude to be working at Emerald Heights, delicious food, family, friends and faith.
It was a delight to see the “Gratitude Wall” grow during the month of December and to see that many of the key take-away messages resonated with those living and working at the community. With a sense of gratitude as a foundation, residents and staff will be able to navigate whatever is next for the Emerald Heights community.
